UNITED Food Staff Factory (UFSF), a leading water manufacturing company, recently organised a blood donation campaign on factory premises in New Industrial Area, Doha. The campaign was held in coordination with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) Blood Donation Unit. A number of the company’s employees donated at the event.
The Factory Manager Ayman Shady said:”The blood donation drive comes as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. By donating blood we can save someone’s life. It also helps the donor as it reduces the risk of heart disease for men.”
HMC mobilised its fully equipped mobile blood donation unit along with a medical team for the campaign, who worked with United Food Staff Factory’s health care personnel to carry out blood donation.
