OVERVIEW

ON WHY PET BOTTLES

Polyethylene terephthalate or mostly known as PET Bottles. Plastic bottles made from PET are widely used in the beverage industry. Plastic bottles are resilient unlike its counterpart glass containers, they are not brittle and doesn’t shatter into sharp pieces and may hurt you once dropped. United Food Stuff Factory (UFSF) is into PET bottles making our products and packaging safe for you to handle. These PET’s are polymers that have useful physical properties such as toughness and resistance to chemicals. These plastic bottles are also unlikely to leak or burst, protecting the contents as well as exterior shipping cartons.

PET Bottles are also easy to mold into different shapes, they can also be in any color, whether opaque or translucent. They also require no paint, as coloring materials is mixed into the plastic resin that is why it never runs, rubs or washes off. They are lighter in weight than their glass counterparts, reducing energy and costs required to ship products.

ON WHY PET BOTTLES

THE 7-STEP PROCESS

Multimedia filtration

is composed of three filtration media, ordered in decreasing porosity. This process enables to trap and retain a far larger number of particles than traditional single media filters.

Carbon filtration

Uses activated carbon to filter and remove contaminants via chemical adsorption, trapping pollutant molecules within the carbon's pore structure.

Micro-filtration

is to separate microorganisms and suspended particles from process liquid, this serves as the pre-treatment for other separation process.

Reverse Osmosis

is a water purification technology that uses a semipermeable membrane to remove ions, molecules and larger particles from drinking water.

Polishing Filter

is the process that removes small (usually microscopic) particulate material, or removes very low concentrations of dissolved material from water.

UV Treatment

is the most effective method for disinfecting bacteria from the water. Ultraviolet (UV) rays penetrate harmful pathogens in water.

Ozonation

Ozonation treats water by infusing ozone, a gas generated by electrifying oxygen molecules, to destroy microorganisms and degrade organic pollutants.
